I stumbled upon the idea for Peach Mindfulness last year when I was looking for an easy way to learn how to meditate. After a few years of trying out different meditation techniques, I still was not sure if I was practicing meditation the correct way, and moreover, if I was getting all the great benefits that meditation can offer.

When I looked at the major meditation apps on the market, I was overwhelmed by the number of meditation tracks from different meditation teachers offered in the apps. One thing all the apps have in common is they all offered meditation to address stress, anxiety, sleep…which sounded good to me, but where do I start? Which meditation track should I pick? Are the skills I learn from one track going to help me build up the skills in others?

I ended up spending more time picking out a meditation than actually practicing it. I felt more confused and frustrated than before I started. The paradox is, this meditation session was supposed to make me less stressed. I began thinking, it’s no wonder many people have tried meditation and failed.

So, I created Peach to make meditation simple to learn and to practice for everyone.

Peach’s mission is to help you be mindful every day. From the way the meditation is delivered – a daily text message like the kind you receive from a close friend reminding you to be mindful, to the making of the content – a guided meditation that takes less than 10 minutes a day, it’s easy to make mindfulness part of your daily life.

It is designed from the science that helps you build tiny habits so you won’t forget to meditate. Made from hundreds of hours of research on meditation techniques and consultation with Venerable Thich Hanh Duc, a Buddhist monk, and a scholar on Buddhism, Peach’s meditation is a straightforward way for anyone who just started out to meditate.
